If you have quality raw footage from COMMERCIALS, SOAPS, PRIMETIME TV or FEATURE FILMS you'll need a good EDITOR with a sharp eye to turn it into a winning SIZZLE Reel.
What's a SIZZLE? SHORT CLIPS showing your RANGE (kind of roles you can play), TYPE (specific physical attributes) and QUALITY (personality, essence or BRAND)...and of course, how you photograph on camera and IF you are a good actor.
ALL of these things contribute to a good DEMO REEL. But you also need A FIRST RATE EDITOR, someone who has edited major films and current Primetime TV series not a student or first time out-of-the-gate indie director/editor! And please avoid those who edit documentaries, infomercials, store promotions, weddings, bar mitzvahs...you get the picture. Your reel needs to be a top level tool to market YOU to the FILM/TV industry. There is a HUGE difference in editing styles and know-how. Finally, you should trust the discriminating eye of a PRO to advise you on what to include and what NOT. We have great editors on staff who work frequently in Primetime TV and Feature Films so your finished reel looks like you've just appeared in one!

PRE-EDIT SESSION: Just so you don't waste YOUR time and that of the Editor's- the clock is ticking at every session- we offer a very sensible Pre-Edit session that will save everyone HOURS of unnecessary viewing. Come with your material already on a DVD, know approximately WHERE on the disk your best scene or work is and some idea of music you might like to include. In the hour session (or less) we'll come up with the best choices for your actual reel.
